CCT athletes continue to dominate early season races and exercise their outstanding fitness and confidence.Marc Warner of Richmond, VA dominated the CAT 3 field at the Sleepy Hollow Smackdown taking first place by winning the sprint from a breakaway group. Marc has enjoyed significant fitness improvements over last year with far less overall training volume. This year will be very exciting for him as Marc is targeting both an upgrade to CAT 1 status as well as a strong performance at Masters Nationals.
Rick Woods of Roanoke, VA also demonstrated outstanding form by winning a Roanoke area mass start hill climb that he has been focusing on this spring. Rick has also realized significant improvements in power at a lower body weight enabling him to dominate in the mountains. Rick is looking forward to the challenging Mountains of Misery ride in Blacksburg, VA later this spring.
