Fun Weekend

We are having a great weekend here in Mebane. I pretty much did exactly what I wanted to do which was great.

Saturday AM I went out for a long steady ride, nice weather, felt pretty good. Just steady tempo. I was out the door at dawn after eating everything in the kitchen beforehand. I got home around 11 - had lunch, watched some tour and took a nice nap. Got up and headed back out in the afternoon head for a sprint workout - which went great. I felt like an animal out there, surprising, but very nice.

This morning I was riding with one of my long term clients who came over to Mebane to ride, check out his bike, etc. I did 90 min before he got there, couple of intervals, felt really good. Jerry and I then did 2 hrs of steady tempo, chatting, checking out position, sprint form, that sort of thing. Very nice morning to ride, perfect weather actually. Post ride - continued to eat everything in the kitchen, nap, then watching the big stage today. Nice.

I have a bunch of athletes racing this weekend - one of my guys hit best ever power in his TT yesterday, very nice. Couple other guys I'm waiting on results from - hope everything went well.

Other than that, we have Kristy's family coming over for sunday supper and pool time. I'll probably swing by the pool and hang out for a bit. I love using my race bike as transportation around the neighborhood.
