Things that go through your mind

I find the I often think of odd things, come up with some interesting ideas and generally have a very active conscious during long interval work. This morning was no exception - just a few things that come to mind:

Start interval

Wow, this is hard. Hard. Crap, that car might hit me. This song sucks. Yuk, dead turkey. Haven't seen a turkey in a while. Kristy's dad hunts turkeys. Uses some special buckshot. Maybe I should get some. Why. Nice, time is flying by. So is the road. This is sweet, I'm hauling ass. I look all pro today. But no one around to see. At least I wont' get swine flu out here. Is that a cow or dog. Good, cow. I should write an article on intervals. Nah, done that about 20 times. 1/2 way. sweet. Power is too high. Over target. I can't wait to race a TT. Killing it. I'll back off a little. My average speed sucks. I am sitting upright. wonder what my CdA is. If this bike were making noise, I'd never hear it. Soundgarden blasting in my ear. Does this chain need cleaning? Who cares. I sure do shift alot. I should congratulate vegan, he rode fast. Just 2 months till nationals. Wish that TT was tomorrow - can't wait. Need to order that 55. What will I eat when I get home? i eat alot of sweet potatoes. Maybe brownies, whole pan of brownies. Just 5 min left. Still over target. Oh well, drill it. This sure beats riding for hours on end. Nasty dog coming up. He's sleeping, good. Hate that dog. Just a few minutes left. Why not go real hard. Vo2 power. Nice. Done.

ClientTestimonials

"When looking for a coach, I essentially wanted two things: to be attentive/available and to possess the understanding to provide thoughtful workouts/advice according to evidence-based principles. Peter has more than fulfilled these goals. He is responsive and thoughtful, typically returning emails in a few hours and frequently following it up with further thoughts once he has digested the question fully. I have already made significant progress in just a few months, and I look forward to continuing the same in the months/years to come."
