3 days, 2:40 worth of threshold work

I have to agree with Will, postings on everyone's blogs have been few, far between and filled with a whole lot of nothing.

I can't say this will be any better, but I have been riding, early, hard, really no different than any other time of the year just minus the really high end stuff.

So the last 3 days - 2x20 at 95% plus microbursts, 2x20 at 95% plus microbursts, 1x60 at 92%.  Nice solid 3 days, no wasted time on the bike at all, all quality.

I have noticed in the last 6 weeks my motivation and ability to focus and work hard during the workouts has improved and become pretty good.  Rarely have I had to bag a workout or give up because it hurt.  Of course intervals hurt.  They are supposed to, that's why many riders don't do them often.  We know better around here of course.

"Working with Pete has helped tremendously. The quality of my training has improved and I'm seeing significant gains in fitness and motivation. Workouts are extremely efficient. There's little wasted time. Pete's approach allows for more recovery, which in turn allows for higher quality workouts. Pete is also extremely knowledgeable about a wide-array of topics including race tactics, nutrition, bike fit, and equipment. In short, he's a fantastic resource."
